An abandoned house I found while driving around Houston during a storm. Yes, I enjoy driving when its storming around me, I know I'm weird. I played around with this on the computer, trying to make it dramatic, increasing the contrast and murking the clouds a bit. All in all, I'm rather happy with how it came out, its hard to take emotional shots around here
I love the brooding feel this has, you did well with the use of contrast and tones. I don't think it's weird at all driving around in storms- I lovelove walking outside when it's lightning and thunder, but, then again, myabe we're both just weird. x3

Thankees! I love finding spots in a big city that don't look very, um, cityish.

I am vapor, I don't exist. I am merely an aspect of some undiscovered dimension where eyes and ears float indiscriminately in spirals, seeing and hearing but with no knowledge of form or matter, reality itself an abstraction.

I'm gonna go with us both being weird <3
Some of the best shots you can take are during bad weather. I lucked out with this, all clouds in the background but breaks in the weather with sunlight behind me hitting the house and lighting it up. There's something dramatic about a well lit subject, but in a dark place when it looks like there should be no light.
Thanks for the compliments, anything from you is always well received

Awww, too good to me! *squeeze*
Its nice to find places like this, they just provide great photo opportunities, but the thought of finding them everywhere all the time is just a tad depressing. In Houston, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if someone was still sleeping there, I've seen worse here.

Thanks! The small break in cloud cover behind me gave me the perfect lighting for the shot. Don't think I could have ever had a better opportunity

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
